A global industry-leader in the manufacturing of aluminum, wood and fiberglass ladders, stepstools and scaffolds, Louisville Ladder develops products for homeowners and professional use around the world.
Founded in 1946, Louisville Ladder has led the industry in the development of innovative design and manufacturing processes. In addition to being the first company to manufacture aluminum step and extension ladders, the company was also the first to develop a structural foam-molded stepladder top. Today, Louisville Ladder is still known for its cutting-edge developments. Among these is DaBoot, which is a polypropylene copolymer upper boot designed to provide strength and durability along with slip-resistant footing. The company has also developed the Quicklatch Runglock, which is an extension ladder that operates with one-finger technology.
