We offer free shipping in the contiguous United States on most orders! 1-800 Ladders uses FedEx, USPS and UPS for parcel shipments and many freight carriers to find the lowest prices and fastest delivery for shipments to our customers.
Shipments may only be sent to the contiguous United States. At this time, we do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii and shipments cannot be sent to PO Boxes.
Products ship FOB destination, ownership and risk of loss pass to the customer as soon as the product is unloaded from the shipper at the customer's home or facility. A packing list will be included with your shipment. Each product page on 1800ladders.com provides estimated time required for delivery. Delivery information will also be included in your order confirmation email.
We ship products from warehouses around the US so delivery dates vary by product and destination. If you order multiple products, your packages may arrive at different dates or times.
While our automated system keeps the inventory up to date on our site, on rare occasions an item will become out of stock before it can be shipped. If this occurs, we will quickly notify you of the date the product will be available so you can decide whether to proceed or cancel your order.
Parcel orders may not require signature upon delivery. If a product does not require signature, it will be left in a secure location. If it does require signature, please inspect the package to ensure it is damage-free. If a product is damaged, please call us at 1-800-523-3377 to determine next steps.
If a delivery requires signature, the carrier will make three attempts to obtain a signature from you before returning the product back to us. We do not want to inconvenience our customers by requiring them to be present in the middle of the day (while they're usually at work) to sign for their packages.
Delivery usually takes around 7 days and all products should arrive within 14 days. If you have not received your ladder within the expected timeframe or within 20 business days, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-523-3377 to research your order.
Orders over 150 lbs or 9 feet in length will ship via freight carrier. To allow 1-800 Ladders to ship to residential areas and to customers without a loading dock, freight shipments may incur a $100 charge per carrier. A product will be designated as a freight product when you checkout on 1800ladders.com.
Signature is required for delivery of products that ship via freight carrier. Slight wear and tear on packaging is normal, but if you notice damage to the actual product(s), do not sign for shipment. Please carefully inspect packaging to ensure damage has not occurred during shipment. If you notice a product has been damaged during transit, you must contact 1-800 Ladders within 24 hours to arrange for shipment back to the warehouse and be eligible for a refund. If you discover concealed damage to your products, please call us within 24 hours to be eligible for a refund. You may be responsible to arrange and pay for return shipping. After an order has been placed, changes to a shipping address may incur additional freight charges.
In most cases a representative from the freight company will contact you to arrange the delivery time and date before the shipment is delivered. Deliveries are made during business hours from Monday to Friday. Most deliveries arrive within 3 to 5 days of leaving the warehouse. Freight shipments may be delivered to the “threshold” of the destination. If an item is large or heavy, it may be delivered to the curbside, driveway or garage of the destination.
Freight delivery to residential addresses or businesses without a loading dock may not be possible in some areas and/or may incur additional freight charges. If shipping arrangements need to be changed, please contact us at 1800-523-3377. Some freight carriers may apply fuel surcharges or additional fees for some deliveries.
